A predictable but mildly pleasant romance, improved by humor and affection for its characters.

Genre: Romance

Synopsis: Photojournalist Matt, burned out after being wounded in Kosovo, comes back to his home town. There, he runs into the unexpectedly attractive Jesse Sinclair, who once, as a young girl, tagged along with Matt and his friend. After a fast wedding, Matt and Jesse have to deal with tension and surprise. Wedded life is not simple, even with mutual attraction and old friendship as glue.

Full Review: The plot is very predictable, and so is the dialogue. However, there is humor, lack of pretension, and almost palpable sympathy for the characters, and the ned result is a fast, uncomplicated, and generally pleasant romance.

Overall: 5; Plot: 5; Characters: 5.5; Style: 5.5; World-building: 4.5; Originality: 5.5;
